BzZz runs out at Solstice Fest

I don’t believe there are too many towns that can party until 2 in the morning like Elberta, MI can. What a beautiful day to have one of the best family-friendly parties around. Kids were “sledding” down the hillside on pizza boxes and any kind of cardboard they could find. I think that I was the only adult that tried it with a huge piece of cardboard that I gave to a group of super excited children and then I grabbed another one and went down again…have to figure out how to download the video. I ran out of BzZz just as the fireworks started and they were really some of the best I’ve seen. Thank you Elberta Parks and Rec, Joshua Stoltz and Bill, and every one else that made it such a wonderful evening including K Jones and Jonah Powell for the pizza, too! See you next year…have a great Summer!

Had a blast at the wine fest, yesterday!  If you’re ever in Fishtown make sure you go to the Cove/Ricks…not too many places that you can eat/drink right next to a waterfall..the water flows right down the steps going thru the place.  Check out their on-line camera that you can control at www.thecoveleland.com!  Sean and Rick were so generous to let me park in front of the place and bang out some tunes…and thanks for the Chubby Mary!  Don’t forget to also go to The Bluebird and visit Skip and his wonderful staff, too…Excellent fish dinners!
